2015 Catalog: All Courses

The purpose of this 1.5 hour session is to provide dentists and dental assistants the background on how to select teeth for composite restorations. The properties of esthetic restorative materials will be discussed. The course will include slides illustrating the process of restoring teeth from start to finish with reference to established guidelines.

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Explain the principles of tooth selection for composite restorations.
2. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of selected esthetic restorative materials.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of occlusion in designing esthetic restorations.

Active clinical priveleges

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
