DE0597: Statistics for Medical Professionals
To provide medical Professional who routinely read medical research an overview of medical statistics as it pertains to practicing evidence based medicine. This course will include a power point presentation led by Ms. Smith with a question and answer session to conclude.
1. Providers should be able to understand bias, random variation, correctly interpret P values, basic probability and conditional probability with respects to medical research
2. Develop Strategies to enable consistent interpretation of research data and provide correct information on study results
3. Develop strategies to enable translation of medical research into practicing evidence-based medicine

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
