BACKGROUND:

This transmittal revises certain portions of Part 3, Chapter 7 of the Indian Health Manual. It also provides instructions and procedures for the use of two new forms - PHS-3655, Consolidated Eight Hour Nurse Drug Audit Record, and PHS-3550, Inventory and Disposition Record for Nursing Unit Narcotics. Significant additions to the previous issuance are indicated by a vertical line in the outside margin of the text.
