Transmittal Notice 04-04

BACKGROUND:

This notice serves to transmit a copy of the revised delegation of authority (DOA), Program No. 19, “Delegation of Authority to Review and Approve Tribal Requests for Indian Self-Determination Funds.”  From the date of signature through September 30,2006, this DOA enables Area Directors to approve requests for Tribal Indian self-determination contract support cost funding for new or expanded programs.

Insert the attached copy of the revised DOA Program No. 19, “Delegation of Authority to Review and Approve Tribal Requests for Indian Self-Determination Funds,” into the Program DOA folder.

Log and file this Transmittal Notice in sequential order.
