Primary Care Medical Clinic (PCMC)
The Phoenix Indian Medicine Center (PIMC) offers patients a comprehensive Primary Care Medical Home (PCMH). What this means is that your care is provided through a team-based health care delivery model led by a health care provider to provide comprehensive and continuous medical care to obtain the best possible health outcomes.
While PCMC is not a walk-in clinic, we do have a limited number of same day appointments. These appointments are reviewed and scheduled based on medical need, by our triage nurse.

The Clinic is the large, single story building on the North East corner of the PIMC Campus. Dedicated patient parking is available in front of the clinic entrance.
Schedule an Appointment
To schedule, change, or cancel an appointment with the Primary Care Medicine Clinic, please call (602) 263-1501 from 6am to 6pm. If you require urgent care during weekdays, we have a Triage Nurse available, and they will make sure you get the most specialized care needed. If your condition is emergent, the PIMC Emergency Department is there for you. If they have a critical/life threatening condition, call 911.
New PIMC Patients
Please gather the below documents as they will be required to make a chart number, and call 602-263-1501 to start the process.

Need a Primary Care Physician?
We encourage everyone who is eligible for care through the Indian Health Service and located in or near Phoenix to request a primary care provider. This is a critical service that ensures you have regular and necessary access to care outside of urgent/emergent needs that are addressed in the Emergency Department.

Medication Refills/Pharmacy
Primary Care Medicine Clinic Pharmacy:
Mon - Fri 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Excluding Holidays)
Outpatient Main Pharmacy:
(Located in the first-floor tower)
Mon - Fri 8:00AM to 7:00PM
Weekend and Holidays 8:00AM to 4:00PM
Walk-in refill requests are able to be processed Monday-Friday 8AM to 5:30PM. To call in a refill, call the automated refill line at 602-200-5385.
If a PIMC provider has prescribed you medication with refills, you can sign up to receive the refills at home. You can enroll in the Meds by Mail program in person at any outpatient Pharmacy window or by phone by calling 602-263-1506. Once you are registered for Meds by Mail, you will be able to request that your refills be sent directly to your address on file before your current prescription runs out.
*Important Info** If you have not seen your provider in the last year and you need a refill, please call 602-263-1501 and let them know you need to be scheduled into the Triage RN Phone Clinic. The Nurse will review your medications, and schedule you an appointment, and/or see if you are eligible for a courtesy refill until your appointment date.
