Volunteer Opportunities

Phoenix Indian Medical Center

PIMC Volunteers are considered unpaid staff and include individuals like our spiritual care providers, and gift shop workers. Adult and junior (ages 14-17) volunteers are assigned to various departments of the medical center. We also serve as a job training site for individuals from organizations like the Phoenix Indian Center, Phoenix Job Corp, Clear Path and the City of Phoenix, Workforce Program. These individuals are also processed through the Volunteer Office. Departmental opportunities vary from the outpatient clinics, housekeeping, maintenance, business office, food service, and the PIMCA gift shop. The Volunteer Office does not process or manage direct patient care externships or rotations. Those positions are managed by the PIMC Staff Development Department, available at 602-248-4186.
