Export Tracking Mart

The Export Tracking Mart contains information about the receipt and load status of individual files sent to the NDW. It also includes a user’s guide and a description of load errors.

The Export Tracking Mart is located on the IHS National Data Warehouse Reporting Web Site for those who have access to the IHS Intranet. The NDW Reporting Web Site User’s Guide, available in the ‘Accessing/Using NDW Data’ section of the NDW Document Library, provides instructions on how to access the web site and all its resources.

For those sites/individuals that do not have IHS intranet access, the Export Tracking Mart User’s Guide is also available in the ‘Data Tracking and Checking’ section of the NDW Document Library.

Below are some commonly asked questions concerning the Export Tracking Mart:

What are the standard reports?
How do I access, export, or print a report?
How often is the mart refreshed? How do I know what files are included?

The NDW Export Tracking Web Site portion of the mart is refreshed every time the page is accessed so it gives you a real-time picture of what has been received and loaded into the NDW.

Two reports also exist that list, by Area and file type, each file that was loaded and present in the NDW by a certain point in time:

The report entitled SPF1. Files Reflected in Workload/User Pop Mart lists files that were loaded in time to be included in the latest available Workload or User Pop reports. This report is run in conjunction with the WL/UP schedule. For the schedule, please see the current year’s ‘Timeline for Transmittal’ in the ‘Workload/User Population Specific’ section of the NDW Document Library.

The report entitled SPF2.NDW Files loaded into the Data Warehouse lists files loaded by the end of the previous day. This report is normally run daily, but refreshes may be delayed for periods when processing is suspended.
