Ever feel like you cannot connect with a client? Watch and learn how a health care provider was able to improve her counseling and communication skills in order to connect with her client. Watch a demonstration and even try it out yourself! This training will introduce several key communication strategies including: listening to self, nonverbal communication, verbal communication, assessing readiness to change, basic listening skills and evoking empathy. You can complete the training during one sitting (60 minutes) or view a section when you have the time.
