Tribal Consultation to seek your guidance and recommendations on the potential implementation of $250 million included in the Administration’s recent supplemental request to support funding for fentanyl and opioid abuse prevention, treatment, recovery services, and harm reduction interventions. Congress has not taken action on the enactment of this potential funding. If enacted, this potential funding would be used to combat the ongoing fentanyl and opioid crises in American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Your input is essential to inform Agency planning related to potential allocation methodologies in anticipation of potential action by Congress on the supplemental funding.
