Summary: Hunter Health Clinic is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, Urban Indian Health Center and Health Care for the Homeless Center. We provide primary medical care, pediatrics, dental, diabetes care, behavioral health, OB/GYN, optometry, immunizations, HIV/Aids testing and outreach to the diverse population of Wichita.

Hunter Health Clinic, Inc., a full service medical clinic devoted to providing comprehensive, quality healthcare to all cultures in all walks of life, with competence, dignity and respect, is searching for an experienced Staff Physician.
Duties: •Provide primary medical care specific but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, patient management, and referral of The Hunter Health Clinic, Inc., patients. •Maintains healthcare needs in accordance with COPC and requirements therein. •Bring all concerns and/or deficiencies to the immediate attention of the Chief Medical Officer. •Documents all patient care information/treatment according to the SOAP format in the patients chart. •Consult and coordinate care with the practitioners, mid-level providers, RNs, pharmacy, laboratory and nutritionists. •Assist in program development, maintenance, and quality assurance as outlined by HRSA, IHS and The Hunter Health Clinic, Inc. policies and procedures. •Responsible for Assurance of Quality Improvement. •Must meet requirements in accordance with the UCRR and UDS. •Have a thorough working knowledge of COPC and requirements therein. •Maintain minimal CME as required per year and submit verifications to Administration in a timely manner. •Maintain privileges at Via Christi and Wesley hospitals and membership on the active medical staff of these area hospitals. The scope of privileges shall include all professional services rendered. •Responsible for adhering to all HHC, Inc. Policies and Procedures. •Continued training on Cultural Competency, Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services [CLAS] in healthcare. •Assist and provide orientation to new providers. •Provide input to Chief Medical Officer as requested pertaining to grants.
Qualifications: •Kansas State License required. •Board Certification required. •Kansas State Licensed and DEA primary care physician in Family Practice. •Proper completion and verification of residency and/or other training.
