BACKGROUND
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the new Delegation of Authority (DOA), Administrative #53, "Approve and Sign Settlement Agreements and Other Claims and Litigation Documents." This DOA reflects changes in the authorities delegated to the Principal Deputy Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services on March 2, 2016.
