Transmittal Notice 17-13

BACKGROUND

The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to forward a copy of the revised Delegation of Authority (DOA), Administrative #55, "Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Title I." This DOA is being reissued to reflect the changes in the "Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Title I," increasing the authorized dollar thresholds, delegated to listed officials, for awarding and declining contracts and subsequent modifications to contracts awarded under Title I, as amended.

Add DOA, Administrative #55, "Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Title I" and remove Indian Health Manual, Part 1, Chapter 11, "Authorized Dollar Thresholds - P.L. 93-638 Contracts & Grants By Area," dated February 17, 1981, in its entirety from your manual system binders.
