Transmittal Notice 25-12
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this Transmittal Notice (TN) is to transmit a copy of the revised Part 1, Chapter 12, “IHS Employee Immunization Program,” Indian Health Manual (IHM). This chapter establishes policy regarding mandatory occupational immunizations for Indian Health Service (IHS) personnel to protect patients from vaccine-preventable diseases that may be transmitted from infectious personnel and protect all IHS personnel (including those at elevated risk), their families, and their contacts from vaccine-preventable diseases.

MANUAL MAINTENANCE:
Remove Part 1, Chapter 12, “IHS Employee Immunization Program,” IHM, dated October 23, 2024, in its entirety and insert the attached copy of Part 1, Chapter 12, “IHS Employee Immunization Program,” IHM, including the chapter Table of Contents in its place.
Log and file this Transmittal Notice in sequential order.
