Notice to rescind IHS, IHM Part 1 Chapter 10, "Emergency Operations of DIH Field Activities

This notice rescinds Indian Health Service (IHS) Indian Health Manual (IHM), Part 1, Chapter 10, "Emergency Operations of Division of Indian Health (DIH) Field Activities." This IHM directive is outdated, and was written prior to the establishment of the IHS as an independent Operating Division in the Department of Health and Human Services. The policies and responsibilities in this chapter are now reflected in the IHS Continuity of Operations Planning Program.

Please discard your binder copies and any file copies of IHM, Part 1, Chapter 10, "Emergency Operations of DIH Field Activities," at your earliest convenience.
