NOTICE TO RESCIND INDIAN HEALTH SERVICE, INDIAN HEALTH MANUAL, CIRCULAR NO. 75-10, “FIELD VISITS BY REPRESENTATIVES FROM OTHER ORGANIZATIONS,” AND CIRCULAR NO. 79-01 AMENDMENT 1, “FIELD VISITS - HEADQUARTERS”

During an Indian Health Service (IHS) policy review, the Office of the Director identified the following policies that need to be rescinded for the individual reasons listed.

This notice rescinds IHS Indian Health Manual (IHM), Circular No. 75-10, “Field Visits by Representatives from Other Organizations,” dated November 10, 1975.  This Headquarters circular has been replaced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services use of electronic mail and the Concur travel system, which has automated and simplified field visit logistics by representatives from other organizations.  

This notice rescinds IHS Indian Health Manual (IHM), Circular No. 79-01 Amendment 1, “Field Visits - Headquarters,” dated November 6, 1979.  This Headquarters circular has been replaced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services use of electronic mail and the Concur travel system, which has automated and simplified field visit logistics by Headquarters staff.

Please discard your copies and any file copies of the above-listed IHM policies at your earliest convenience.
