Administrative Delegation #1

AUTHORITY DELEGATED

Pursuant to the authority delegated to the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), on December 22, 2016, by the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources and Chief Acquisition Officer, I hereby delegate to the officials listed below the authority to award, modify, administer, and terminate contracts/other acquisition instruments and other transactions.

AUTHORITY TO REDELEGATE

The Head of Contracting Activity (HCA) may redelegate as permitted by the Department of Health and Human Services Acquisition Regulation 301.603.  The Director, Division of Acquisition Policy is designated as the HCA for the IHS.

SUPERSESSION

This delegation supersedes the previous delegation of authority located in the Indian Health Manual, Administrative Delegation #1, "Acquisition Authorities," dated October 4, 2016.

EFFECTIVE DATE

This delegation is effective on the date of signature.
