AUTHORITY DELEGATED

Pursuant to the authorities delegated to the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), I hereby delegate to the positions listed below the authorities under Title III, Section 338 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended, to administer the IHS Scholarship and Educational Loan Repayment Program.

These authorities shall be exercised through the chain of command and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policy directives issued by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

SUPERSESSION

This delegation supersedes the Delegation of Authority, Program #6, "Public Health Service Act, Title III - General Powers and Duties of PHS, Part D, Primary Health Care, Subpart III - Scholarship Program and Loan Repayment Program Section 3381 - Indian Scholarship Program," dated September 14, 1988.

EFFECTIVE DATE

This delegation is effective upon the date of signature.
