DETERMINATION TO PROVIDE GOVERNMENT PROPERTY

I hereby determine that (Name of Contractor) under (Contract No.) should be provided with the following (or attached) property as (Government Furnished) or (Contractor Acquired) for the following reasons:

1. No practical or economical alternative exists. (Set forth circumstances--acquisition from other sources, utilization of subcontractors, rental of property, or modification of program requirements.)
2. The Government will receive adequate consideration for providing the property, or
3. Furnishing Government property is likely to result in substantially lower cost to the Government for the items produced or services rendered when all costs are considered (e.g., transportation, installation, modification, maintenance, etc.) and compared with the cost to the Government of the Contractor's use of privately-owned property.
