BACKGROUND
This transmittal forwards the attached Delegation of Authority for Leasing Authorities. This authority was delegated to the Director, Indian Health Service (IHS), by the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health Management Operations on August 19, 1994. The authority is being redelegated to the Public Health Service Regional Health Administrators at Region VI and X to perform leasing authorities for IHS.
