CMS ITU Training

Description

Purpose:  The purpose of the CMS IHS/Tribal/Urban training is to, in partnership with States, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration, and IHS, provide training to patient benefits advocates on the programs and benefits available through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Topics to be covered: Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, CMS Tribal Affairs Overview, VA, Social Security

Time:  9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Who Should Attend: The target audience for the CMS ITU trainings is: Business Office staff, Benefits Coordinators, Patient Registration staff, Medical Records staff, Purchased and Referred Care staff
