IHS Virtual Tribal Consultation Session: Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL)

Description

On November 16, 2023, the IHS initiated Tribal Consultation seeking guidance and recommendations on developing a spend plan for the third year of funding for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.  The BIL (Pub. L. No. 117-58 (November 15, 2021)), appropriated $3.5 billion to the IHS, with $700 million made available over 5 years, beginning in fiscal year 2022.
