SASP/DVP National Grantee Meeting & Training
March 12 - 13, 2024
Description
The purpose of the Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention (SASP) and Domestic Violence Prevention (DVP) National Grantee Meeting & Training is to provide all awarded grantees an opportunity to participate in a two-day, in-person meeting and training on the grant funding cycle requirements by the Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) and the Division of Grants Management (DGM). Grantees will be trained on grant and programmatic processes that include successful grant program management, annual progress reporting requirements, grant-specific processes for post-grant award management, and technical assistance (TA) will be available from IHS staff on-site to ensure grantee success. Grantees will also be provided with an overview of the national evaluation data collection process and an overview of TA available at the regional and national levels. Grantees will be able to meet with each other and to support the development of a TA network that will allow for future collaboration and sharing best and promising practices. The IHS has a commitment to provide support and resources throughout the duration of the 5-year funding cycle.
