February All Tribal and Urban Indian Organization Leaders Call

The Indian Health Service (IHS) invites you to join us on Thursday, February 3, 2022, for our monthly call for Tribal leaders and Urban Indian Organization leaders to provide important IHS updates and to extend an opportunity for leaders to share input with IHS officials. This month, IHS will provide additional information and answer questions relating to the final rule publication on the Buy Indian Act.  This rule hits on an important aspect of our strategic plan regarding strengthening IHS program management and operations. The Transfer Act authorizes IHS to set-aside procurement contracts for Indian-owned and controlled businesses.  More information on the final rule is available in the IHS Buy Indian Act fact sheet.
