Looking for a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist who is passionate about helping patients. We have a two day a week, contracted position, in a suburban Indian Health Clinic near Green Bay. This is a great opportunity for using your therapeutic skills in caring for patients with red eyes, cata-racts, glaucoma, and diabetes. Our staff are highly trained and have been with us for a long time. If interested in this position, please contact us.
Duties: Conduct routine eye exams for clients. Maintain patient records. Prescribe medications to treat ocular diseases and disorders. Perform pre- and post-operation checks. Check patients for signs of diseases and refer them to other specialists when needed.
Qualifications: Education Applicants must have a Doctor of Optometry degree from an educational program that is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (external link) (ACOE) at the time the degree was obtained. Licensure Applicants must have received a passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (external link) (NBEO) examinations and possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice optometry in the state of Wisconsin.
