| Duties: | Responsible for overseeing the psychological service needs of individuals, families, groups and the community at large. The position also entails supervising medication assessments, evaluations, and management services for those qualified patients being referred. The incumbent will provide services to children, adolescents, and adults. Candidate must adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines, professional standards, and all legal requirements. |
| Qualifications: | Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of principles, practices and professional standards of providing medication management services to Tribal communities. Knowledge of Yakama Nation personnel policies and procedures. Knowledge of the Yakama Nation Tribal governmental organization. Knowledge and proficiency in computer use specifically Microsoft Office products including, WORD, Excel, Power Point, and Access, and database relevant to the Behavioral Health program. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other department staff, supervisors/managers, elected officials, etc. Ability to greet the public and address problems, issues, and complaints tactfully, courteously and effectively. General Recruiting Indicators: Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing, and have a minimum of one year of clinical experience (private practice accepted) in the area of medication management for mental health conditions. Must be current full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in Washington State, and be licensed or otherwise recognized as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington with Licensure for prescriptive authority. |
