| Summary: | Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a Joint Commission accredited health center, provides services to a 6,000 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services; dental and ophthalmology services; orthopedics; OB/GYN; oral surgery; eye surgery; and urological procedures. TCRHCC is located in Northeast Arizona on the land known as the Colorado Plateau. This semi-desert landscape varies in elevation from 4,400 in the Little Colorado River Valley to nearly 7,000 feet at Preston Mesa. The unique community of Tuba City offers a culturally rich environment. The Native American tribes located and served here are the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute. | Duties: | The nurse-midwifery practice at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC), located on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona, seeks a Certified Nurse-Midwife to complete our team of 8 CNMs, 6 OB/GYNs, and 1 WHNP. We serve a high-risk population and practice in a full-scope capacity, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, initial newborn, gynecology, contraceptive and well-woman care. Midwives also first-assist in cesarean sections. Rotating schedule includes clinic and Labor & Delivery Unit shifts. Midwives staff L&D 24/7, so nights and weekends are required and shared equally amongst the group. |
