To provide care in the Operating Room with a full range of nursing proficiency. This includes assessing the needs of patients with a variety of critical conditions, administering medications, operating specialized equipment and responding appropriately in emergency situations. This also covers the Same-Day procedures are provided for local procedure, endoscopy procedure (conscious sedation) and cystoscopy procedure. Provides intensive nursing care and post anesthesia care to patients who have undergone a broad range of surgical procedures. This position is located at Indian Health Service (IHS), Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), Division of Nursing Services, Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Gallup, NM. The position reports to Supervisory Nusre.
