| Summary: | To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify for this position you must meet the following screen-out element: Ability to do the work without more than normal supervision. You may meet this requirement if you have experience and/or training to perform a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing. Prepare food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading; weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients for regular and modified menu items; set up and replenish a salad bar; portion foods for distribution and meal service; and cover, date, and store leftovers according to established procedures. This screen-out element is a critical self-assessment of the applicant's experience and is essential for satisfactory job performance. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: In addition to the above, qualifications will also be determined by comparing your application to the responses on the Assessment Questionnaire against the guidelines found in the Job Qualification System for Food Preparation And Serving Family, WG-7400 series. The questionnaire will assess how your knowledge, skills, and abilities match what the position calls for. |
