Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: For GS-11: Serve as an expert to plan for, organize, control, coordinate, review, and approve the actions inherent in the design and construction of such designated structures as medical facilities, public buildings and related support facilities. Applies Federal Acquisition Requirements related to design and construction activities. Serve as the senior real property specialist responsible for work combining all real property functional area (acquisition, management, and disposal). Plans, organizes and execute realty actions from the beginning of the acquisition process through disposal. GS-12: Examples include: Experience in providing project management of a health care facility construction activities, preparing engineering cost estimates to achieve the goals of the master plan, negotiating contract specifications with organizational elements of agency and contractors, reviewing and analyzing submission of concepts, preliminary working drawings and specifications prepared by contracted architect/engineers for compliance with agency standards, policies, and goals. Experience with real property functional areas, such as acquisition, management, utilization, and disposal of government-owned real property; and Federal Lease planning, acquisition, and management activities. SELECTIVE FACTOR: Thorough knowledge of professional engineering, Peer design and construction methods that requires a Professional Engineering registration.
