Help us select the HHS People's Choice Award for 2013

Vote for your favorite innovation and tell us why you like it!

We received terrific innovation nominations from our employees in this round of the HHSinnovates contest, and have selected the top finalists. Now, in the spirit of open government, we need your help in deciding which project(s) are the most innovative and impactful - in other words, to be the "People's Choice". You may vote for as many of the six innovations as you wish. We also welcome your comments and thoughts on how any of these six innovations could help you or your community, and also how we might improve them in the future. The innovation with the highest number of public votes will win the "People's Choice award." All comments received will be sent directly to the HHS programs, and will be used to help refine the innovations.

Now in its sixth iteration, the HHSinnovates program continues to highlight innovative programs and processes developed by HHS staff, often in collaboration with our partners. These new approaches are created to help carry out the Department's mission to enhance the health and well-being of Americans by providing for effective health and human services and by fostering strong, sustained advances in public health, biomedical research and social services. Employees use the innovation-conducive environment at HHS to create new solutions to solve critical problems in these areas. Through our open government practices, feedback received through this contest will be used to further refine the innovations and guide future directions for this program.

Public voting is open from February 28 - March 8, 2013.
