President's Fiscal Year 2017 Budget Proposal

The President's fiscal year 2017 budget for the Indian Health Service proposes $6.6 billion, with targeted investments in behavioral health, staffing, infrastructure and health information technology. The proposed budget supports self-determination by fully funding the Contract Support Costs of Tribes managing their own health care programs.
