Nurses Week 2023

As the IHS celebrates Nurses Week from May 6 – 12, we would like to take the time to highlight the wide range of contributions made by nurses throughout Indian Country. This year’s theme, You Make a Difference, spotlights the tremendous positive impact nurses make while serving in a variety of roles, often in rural, hard-to-fill and challenging environments. IHS thanks nurses across the Indian health system for their selfless dedication to American Indians and Alaska Natives. This week is an opportunity to thank a nurse and show your appreciation for the crucial role they play in health care delivery.
