At the PIMC Cardiology Department, we are dedicated to providing specialized cardiac care with a focus on accurate diagnosis and patient-centered service.

To ensure the best possible outcomes, we require the following for new patient consultations:

  • In-Person Evaluation: All new patients must be seen and examined in person by our cardiologist to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
In Case of Emergency

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, dial 911 immediately. Do not attempt to drive yourself to the hospital.

As a specialized department with a single cardiologist, our services are focused but limited. Please note:We do not have an on-site catheterization lab (cath lab), electrophysiology lab (EP lab), or dedicated cardiology technicians.

Our cardiologist relies on the preliminary workup provided by your Primary Care Physician (PCP) to streamline the consultation process and focus on specialized cardiac care.

For more information or to schedule a consultation, please contact your PCP to initiate the referral process. We look forward to partnering with you and your primary care team to support your heart health.

Referrals

  • Referral Requirements: Patients must have a referral from their Primary Care Physician (PCP). The PCP is responsible for completing a preliminary workup, including:
    • An electrocardiogram (EKG)
    • Basic laboratory tests
  • Submission of Records: Please ensure that your PCP sends the EKG results and lab reports to our office prior to your appointment.
