The PIMC Oncology team provides comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized cancer care, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management throughout each patient’s care journey. Through a partnership with Mayo Clinic of Arizona, PIMC patients have access to specialized oncology expertise, including weekly in-person clinics and coordinated support for cancer care.

Patient Scheduling
- Scheduling Process: patients will be called for appointments based on availability, patients will be prioritized based on acuity first and then on a first come, first serve basis
- Walk-In Policy (if applicable): No walk-ins, appointments required
Referrals
Referrals are required for oncology clinic. For internal referrals, staff can submit through the IHS EHR. External referrals must be faxed to clinic with proper documentation. Required information includes a face sheet, referral order, clinical notes relevant to diagnosis, last 3 months of labs including any relevant pathology results, relevant imaging studies
