Conditions Treated
Our Eye Department provides general ophthalmology and optometry services for both children and adults. We provide routine eye examinations and prescriptions for glasses but do not provide them, nor do we fit routine contact lenses. All medical eye conditions are treated, including diabetes, glaucoma, uveitis, and cataracts. We perform eye surgery and laser treatments for many conditions, including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and others.
Records Requests and Submissions
To securely fax patient records, please send them to 602-263-1635 with your organizations cover sheet including any necessary patient information. If you are experiencing any issues or need confirmation of receipt, please call us at 602-263-1504.

The Eye Department is located in the PIMC Specialty Clinic building, just south of the hospital.
If you are experiencing a sudden loss of vision, please call the PIMC Specialty Clinic for Eye services. The Eye Clinic can be reached at 602-263-1504, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. During the call, the patient care representative will help ensure you receive the most specialized care needed. Please note that if the sudden vision loss occurs outside of normal weekday hours, or is due to a significant head trauma or a chemical splash to the face/eyes, please visit the Emergency Department first for an initial evaluation.
Only emergency patients are seen on a same-day basis.
