Summary:

This one-hour webinar will provide an overview of the Fiscal Year 2021 IHS Oral Health Promotion/Disease Prevention Funding Initiative, with different funded programs providing a summary of their projects focusing on increasing access to care, addressing edentulism, and addressing untreated decay in 55 year-old American Indian/Alaska Native elders.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
1. Describe the prevalence of dental disease in AI/AN elders from a national perspective;
2. List best practices to improve access to care in AI/AN elders; and
3. List best practices to reduce dental disease in AI/AN elders.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
