Summary:

This presentation is to clarify that ‘IHS Dentrix’ is far more than an electronic dental record, it is an integrated system which includes: EDR Program management, material assistance for both new IHS Dentrix EDR implementations and upgrades, a digital image management system and continuous EDR program enhancements – all incorporated into a single program.

Learning Objectives:

Following the presentation, the attendee will be able to:
1.   Name the three simultaneous activities of the EDR Contract.
2.   Describe how the EDR Program supports Dentrix EDR implementations and upgrades in terms of material, program management and direct services.
3.   Name at least three benefits of the DICOM [digital x-ray] standard.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
