DE0467: Diabetes Online CDE: Diabetes in Pregnancy
This seminar will provide a review of screening, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes in pregnancy. A discussion of new issues in addressing diabetes in pregnancy will also be included. The session invites health team members to think of ways to be more responsive to the needs of patients and take steps to improve services.
1. Utilize current guidelines for screening and diagnosis of diabetes in pregnancy.
2. Teach patients with diabetes about their treatment and management of their diabetes in pregnancy.
3. Identify practice implications related to new topics and guidelines in the treatment of patients with diabetes in pregnancy.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
