Summary:

This is a recorded webinar.

This webinar is co-sponsored by the Field Advisory Committee of the National Oral Health Council.

There are often multiple options available when treatment planning for patients with removable prosthodontic needs. In many instances, in all clinical settings, not strictly in the IHS, the “textbook” treatment plan may not be preferred, or even possible, due to any one of a variety of reasons. This course will address various removable prosthodontic treatment techniques and modalities in settings where the ideal treatment plan may or may not be an option. Topics to be addressed will include complete denture treatment planning, sequencing, and clinical treatment, and removable partial denture treatment planning and techniques, in conjunction with possible fixed prosthodontic or direct restorative techniques.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants should be able to:
1.    Identify and understand treatment options and techniques for completely edentulous patients
2.    Identify and understand treatment options and techniques for partially edentulous patients
3.    Identify possible troubleshooting solutions to common clinical problems in removable prosthodontics
