Summary:

This webinar is specifically developed for dental staff from IHS, tribal, and urban programs in the Oklahoma City, Bemidji, and Great Plains Areas.

[AM] Leading, Developing, & Retaining Your Team: This course will help dental teams understand the value of effective leadership, and learn how to develop leaders throughout the organization. Effective leadership fosters a healthy work environment, and greatly contributes to a culture where employees feel safe. A safe and supportive work environment fosters employee retention.

[PM] Oral Disease & the Impact on Systemic Health: This course will help dental teams understand the connection between oral health and total health. The dental team will learn how to promote oral health practices that can improve the patient’s quality of life.

Participants should be dental staff from IHS, tribal, and urban programs in the Oklahoma City, Bemidji, and Great Plains Areas.

Tuition Payment Information:

Please Make Checks Payable to: Indian Health Service.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
