Summary:

This is part of a 4-module series on pain management.

"Trauma Responsive Care for Oral Health Providers" will identify common sources of trauma for AI/AN people, identify ways trauma may present during a dental visit, describe how to respond when trauma presents, and describe triggering language and behaviors.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Describe how to create a safe environment for patients;
2. Explain the concept of historical trauma; and
3. Describe how trauma intersects with pain management.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
