DE0732: Diabetes Online CDE: Results from the 2022 IHS Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit [Live & Recorded]
Results from the IHS Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit [“Audit”] provide valuable information to participating facilities for evaluation and improvement. Each year, these facilities gather data on their American Indian and Alaska Native diabetes patients and submit it to the IHS Division of Diabetes for review and report generation. This webinar will provide an overview of the Audit process and national results from the 2022 Annual Audit.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the purpose and background of the IHS Annual Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit.
2. Analyze findings and trends in national and local Annual Audit 2022 data which could inform the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on diabetes care and outcomes in Indian Country.
3. Utilize Audit results to identify potential areas for improvement in diabetes care at their facilities.

The Indian Health Service Division of Oral Health (IHS DOH) is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. IHS DOH designates this activity for 1.00 continuing education credits.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
