DE0521: IHS Monthly EDR Series: In-Depth Review of Dentrix Enterprise Version 11.0.2 HIM QA Document Center Audit Feature [Recorded Webinar]
Janice Chipolla presents a ‘deep dive’ into the process for QA review of documents scanned into the Dentrix Document Center. This function in Dentrix is designed to be done as an electronic process allowing the final assessment to be saved within the Dentrix system. The final audit report can also be printed for filing with other HIM Quality Assessment review documents.
The Dentrix Document Center Quality Assessment [QA] review must be completed and properly documented to ensure the Dentrix Document Center meets current IHS Health Information Management [HIM] requirements for ‘certification’ of the Dentrix Document Center as a trusted database allowing disposal of original [paper copy] documents. This webinar will demonstrate the Dentrix log-in process; the administrative rights required for access to Dentrix and the Document Center, the typical types of document QA errors, single level review and /or multiple levels of review including a third level review when this is indicated. The intended audience for this presentation is IHS HIM personnel and any dental clinic staff members that will be doing this QA review.
