Accessibility

Accessibility refers to the ability of a website, document, or other resource to be used by people of all abilities and disabilities. Making materials accessible to everyone by using plain language, common templates, and appropriate document development can assure that your information can be shared with the broadest range of people.

Section 508 is a law that requires Federal Agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with or without disabilities such as difficulty seeing or hearing.
