IHS 2023 Summer Externship Program

Applications are now being accepted for the IHS 2023 Summer Externship Program Exit Disclaimer: You Are Leaving www.ihs.gov . This paid externship offers students the opportunity to gain working knowledge and experience in their chosen health profession or field with the Indian Health Service. The IHS continues to seek the next generation of leaders committed to improving the health of Native communities. Externships are available from May through August 2023, and the deadline to apply is January 2, 2023.
