Patient Safety Awareness Week – March 12-18, 2023

Patient Safety Awareness Week

Patient safety is a priority at the Indian Health Service. Patient Safety Awareness Week, recognized from March 12-18, is a time to recognize the tremendous work that our health care workers do to strengthen patient safety in our facilities, and to bring awareness to the commitment required to maintain and increase that level of safety in the future. As we celebrate Patient Safety Awareness Week, IHS would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff for ensuring that our patients receive high quality and safe care. Every IHS employee plays an important role in patient safety and the maintenance of a safety culture throughout our agency.
