Description:
BACKGROUND: Indian Health Service (IHS) advocates for the E3 strategy which ensures every patient at every visit is offered every vaccine. The foundation of this strategy is to support vaccine confidence with vaccinators, patients, and families. Therefore, the National Immunization Program (NIP) has invited vaccine industry partner to discuss their updated products for the 2024-2025 respiratory disease season. NIP holds a longstanding partnership to support and strengthen Indian Healthcare immunization programs across the country. The IHS Office of Information Technology (OIT), National Council of Informatics (NCI), and IHS Vaccine Task Force (VTF) collaborate to effectively and efficiently (a) deploy, (b) administer, (c) document, and (d) manage vaccine data through the Electronic Health Record (EHR), the Resource Patient Management System (RPMS), and Vaccine Information Systems (VIS) optimization.
