Summary:

This is the annual meeting of Commissioned Officers, sponsored by the Commissioned Officers Foundation. Continuing Education is available only to USPHS Commissioned Corps dentists and dental hygienists attending the live event. For USPHS CC dentists who are not in the IHS, CDE credit is only available until June 30, 2022. For USPHS CC dental hygienists who are not in the IHS, CDE credit is NOT available.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Provide an overview of USPHS priorities;
2. Describe the impact of readiness and deployments in the past year; and
3. Explain the USPHS response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Individual learning objectives for each session are in the conference program and are available upon request.

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the IHS at IHS CDE Coordinator or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at CCEPR.ada.org

Prerequisites:

Must be a USPHS Commissioned Corps dental officer or dental hygienist officer [for hygienists, must be in the IHS].

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
