DH0001: Dental Hygiene Updates
The intent of Dental Hygiene Updates 2010 is to present the best of recent technology, clinical, and administrative practices available to dental hygienists who work in I/T/U dental programs. The 2010 theme is “Turning Challenges into Opportunities.” The conference begins with registration, meet & greet, and round table topic discussions from 4:00-6:00pm on May 4th. May 5th and May 6th are all day continuing education.

Upon completion of this meeting the participants will be able to:
1. Apply new technologies, materials, and clinical practices in the effective day-to-day management of dental programs.
2. Glean best practices from dental hygienists in other IHS dental programs that can be adapted to your setting.

None. Open to all hygienists in the Indian Health Dental Program whether tribal, contract, civil service or commissioned corps, full-time or part-time.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
