DD0032: Concepts III Journal Club - "False Expertise"
This course will be a journal club with the attendees receiving the article in advance and using an IHS conference line to discuss. Dr. Johnson will lead the discussion for this session on false expertise and how participants can discern opinion from research findings and be a better consumer of data and information.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the neurological pitfalls that humans are prone to fall for regarding facts vs. non expertise opinion.
2. Distinguish between opinion and research-based information.
3. Provide examples of fact-based information and resources for future use.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
